Our Story

Ivo & Natalia

The universe (and our wonderful French friend, Jennifer) clearly had a plan to bring us together.

They had crossed paths a few times — and apparently even said hello at a party, although only Ivo seems to remember that part.

A few months later, at a friend's birthday dinner at Balzem in New York, Jennifer finally introduced them properly. They talked for a bit, even danced a little, and then Natalia had to leave early.

The next day, they started messaging each other.

Two dates in two days turned into snowboarding the following weekend, and not long after, kitesurfing in the Dominican Republic — where Natalia was quickly introduced to Ivo's idea of a relaxing vacation.

They've been happiest somewhere between the mountains and the ocean ever since, usually planning the next adventure before the current one is over.

Three years later, Ivo proposed on a beautiful beach in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic.

Good to Know

Q&A

Dress inspiration and more details will be shared closer to the wedding.
Not yet. A formal invitation with full RSVP details will follow, and this site will be updated when RSVP opens. If you already know whether you'll be joining us, we'd love for you to let Natalia or Ivo know — it will help us with early planning for the weekend.
Our guests are joining us from several countries, so English will be the main shared language throughout the weekend, with Bulgarian and Russian woven in along the way.
Warm and sunny by day, pleasantly cool in the evenings — a light layer for after dark is a good idea.
